Utilizing characteristic SUZAKU features like FPGA, user I/O pins, Ethernet and Linux support, it is simple to create the kind of systems shown in the diagram below.

Example 1: Remote measurement / control

Connecting measurement devices to SUZAKU allows you to transfer collected data via the network. Even devices that have until now been difficult to connect to CPU boards can be easily handled with custom FPGA configurations. Of course, viewing of data via email and web browsers can be made possible simply by using the many open source libraries and applications available.

Example 2: Remote Video

By implementing image compression logic on the FPGA, it is possible to efficiently stream from a camera connected to the SUZAKU. Then transferring the image and streaming data to a remote server makes it available for viewing from a PC or cell phone.
