FAQ : The following error occurs when using Lbplay2.exe, "ERROR: Please check WINNT\system32\drivers\windrvr.sys."

This error only occurs on PCs with ISE6.2 installed, and not on PCs which have ISE6.1 or earlier installed.
Follow these steps to resolve the problem.
  1. Download and unzip wb_TE7720_software_20031104.zip. Then also unzip Release204.zip from with the previously unziped folder.
  2. After checking there is no file with the same name, copy windrvr.sys to one of the following folders under a user with Administrator rights. WindowsNT/2000: C:\WINNT\system32\drivers WindowsXP: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers
  3. Open a command prompt window, move to the unziped folder and run: wdreg install
The problem should now be corrected.
